FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Does the shop offer the type of repair work your car needs?
Not all auto body repair shops offer a full range of repair services. Some may specialize in only a few types of repairs, but if you contact us or bring your car in we will inform you about your repair.
Am I required to use the auto body shop recommended by my insurance company?
No. Insurance companies usually recommend auto body shops they know to provide quality repairs but can sometimes be more expensive. But you are allowed to have the repairs performed by the shop of your choice.
How long will it take to repair your damaged vehicle?
Depending on the extent of the damage and the availability of replacement parts, repair jobs can range from one week to months or more. When bringing your vehicle in there is no set date on when it will be finished. We can estimate a day but not guarantee! Due to part shortage, we will have to extend the range. Us and many more shops can be backed up due to that reasoning. (Work Overload)
Does the auto body shop have a relationship with a rental car provider?
It is recommended to check with your insurance as some policy provides complimentary or discounted rental services during your vehicle repair process. But we in fact can help you with a rental as well.
Does the shop assist you with processing the insurance claim?
Yes! We have excellent relationships with major auto insurance carriers and are happy to work directly with your carrier. This can save you time while ensuring you get reimbursed for all costs you are entitled to under your policy.
Does the shop provide an itemized, written estimate of all necessary repairs?
You need to know what repairs will take place, why they are needed, and how much each one will cost. Here at Wreck-A-Mend we provide you with a free estimate on everything you need to know about your vehicle and its repairs.
Will the paint match the rest of my car?
Cars have a paint code on a plate located either in a door jamb, under the hood, or in the trunk. This paint code will give the exact color of the manufacturer’s paint. Our technicians will locate it and make sure your paint matches perfectly with the rest of the car.
How often will I get updates on my car?
We will update you as often as we can, if you'd like more frequent updates you can call in and we'd love to inform you on how your car is going.
Is your car covered while it is in the shop?
It's always negative to think about scenarios like this but if anything possibly happens to your car we do have both theft and fire insurance as well.
What is the payment policy?
It depends on the job but you must put enough money down to pay for your parts and when we're done with your vehicle you pay the rest of the cost.
